Curtis Gatewood’s music is a contemporary fusion of soulful 90’s R&B and modern-day hip hop. Thoughtfully harmonized and infectiously delivered - Gatewood organically evolves every melody, forever staying two steps ahead of the listener. Through his music, he paints a refreshingly honest portrait of love - compassion, isolation, and everything in between. No two songs flow the same as you are taken on a journey beginning and ending in a trance-like ambiance - a still lake at dusk, a tangerine tinged sky, a love note crumpled in the waste bin. Listening to this music is a welcomed respite from the day to day grind, a momentary sanctuary of humanity and harmony.
